Restaurant Sites Inc. was founded in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in 1976 by Stan Bell and Murray Werner (both now deceased) as a real estate brokerage company specializing in site location and selection work for national restaurant chains. Nathan Werner joined the firm in 1977 and today is the broker and president of the corporation. Carol Ann Heinrich became a member of the team in 1985 specializing in site selection for national, regional, and multi unit chain restaurants.

In 1983 the principals formed a second corporation, Retail Sites International, Inc., to handle their growing business in site selection and negotiation for retail tenants and the sale of property to shopping center and real estate development companies. Nathan Werner again serves as both broker and president of Retail Sites International, Inc. For retail development companies, Retail Sites International, Inc. has represented builders/developers in the acquisition of properties for the development and construction of single tenant, net leased properties; retail shopping centers and mixed use properties; and has assisted in market studies and all research necessary to complete a successful project.

Additionally, RSI has sold and/or leased properties for developers/builders or for property owners who have listed their property (either improved or vacant) with the personnel at RSI. In recent years RSI has expanded its services to include many 1031 sales and purchases and/or exchanges and continues to expand this segment of their business, In the summer of 2005 Bill Bymel joined as a broker with both Restaurant Sites and Retail Sites and has developed an expertise in all aspects of the operations of both corporations.

The personnel of RSI have over thirty years of experience representing some of the largest and best known names in the restaurant, retail, and real estate development business and have tremendous expertise in all aspects of restaurant and retail leasing and sales, and real estate development– from initial Market Studies and the site selection through lease and contract negotiations and closing. Their detailed knowledge of Florida Real Estate has enabled the professionals at RSI to achieve a prominence within the industry second to none.
